Introducing Judy: Your AI Assistant, Inspired by a Legacy of Help

Earlier this month, we were excited to launch a new feature called Judy, our AI chat assistant. You might be wondering, "Where's Judy?" and "Why that name?" Well, let me tell you a story.

A Family Legacy of Service

As a fifth-generation pawnbroker, I've seen firsthand the importance of small businesses and the communities they serve. But for me, small business is more than just a career; it's my family's legacy.

My grandmother, a Holocaust survivor, arrived in the United States at the age of 10. Together with my grandfather, they built a pawn shop, then another, and then many more.

My grandmother wasn't just resilient; she was THE person people turned to for help. Whether it was a question, an issue, or a challenge, she was always there to lend a hand. Her kindness and dedication to helping others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Her name was Judy.

Bravo’s Judy is here to help you, our valued customers, get answers to your questions anytime you need them. We know that over half of the support inquiries we receive are basic how-to questions or quick feature refreshers. We also understand that you often need answers quickly, especially when you have a customer right in front of you.

That's where Judy comes in. She can answer your questions 24/7, freeing you up to focus on what matters most – your customers.

Judy: Carrying on the Torch

On January 1st, we launched Judy, our AI assistant, built directly into our software. Just like my grandmother, Judy is there to answer your questions and help you solve problems. Both our employees and customers are already loving the convenience and support Judy provides.

I'm incredibly proud of Judy and the way she honors my grandmother's legacy. It's truly special to see her name live on, continuing to provide the kind of help that was so important to her.

Tally Mack is a fifth-generation pawnbroker and eCommerce enthusiast. She loves traveling, being outside, and working out.

Before taking the reins as CEO, Tally served as Bravo's Vice President of Business Development, leading the company's sales and marketing organization. She's been instrumental in leading and executing many of the company's strategic shifts, including the acquisition of CompuPawn and the launch of UsedGuns.com.

Tally earned her Doctorate of Law (J.D.) from DePaul University College of Law in 2013 after attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned her B.A. in Communication Studies. She also completed the Key Executives Program from Harvard Business School in 2013.
