Support FAQ

Bravo Support FAQ: Answers for Existing Customers

Straight answers to the questions Bravo stores ask our support team most: voiding transactions, tax rates, backups, payments, and migrations. When you need hands-on help, Bravo support is 100% in-house, and Moe, our AI support agent, is available 24/7.

These answers apply to current Bravo customers. Evaluating Bravo for the first time? Start with the product overview or request a demo.

How do I void a transaction or correct a mistake after the sale?

Contact Bravo support with the transaction ID, your store name, and what needs to change. Because voids and corrections touch your financial records, and for pawn loans and firearms transactions your compliance records too, running them through support keeps everything documented and your reporting accurate.

Submit a ticket from the customer support page or call (725) 525-3535. Every request follows a tracked path from submission to confirmed resolution, and complex issues escalate directly to the engineering team that built the software.

How do I update sales tax rates in Bravo?

When a city, county, or state changes your sales tax rate, contact Bravo support with the jurisdiction, the new rate, and its effective date, and the team will make sure your store's configuration is updated correctly. After the change takes effect, verify a receipt to confirm the new rate is applied.

If you operate stores in multiple jurisdictions, mention each location so every store gets the right rate.

How do I back up my Bravo data?

You don't have to. Bravo is a cloud-based platform: your data syncs automatically across registers, back-office computers, and mobile devices, and Bravo handles backups, security patching, and uptime. There are no servers to maintain and no manual backup routine to run.

If you need a copy of specific data, such as records for an audit or an accountant, contact support and the team will help you get what you need.

Does Bravo support split payments and partial payments?

Bravo handles partial payments on pawn loans and layaway as part of normal store workflows. If you want to split a single transaction across different tender types, such as part card and part cash, contact support to confirm how split tender works with your store's setup and payment terminals, since options depend on your configuration and processor.

Why does my pawn loan interest or redemption amount look different than I expected?

Bravo calculates pawn loan interest and fees using jurisdiction-specific schedules, so redemption amounts change as loans cross renewal dates, grace periods, and fee accrual boundaries. That's why the amount due can move from one day to the next.

If a redemption amount doesn't match your state's fee schedule, don't adjust it manually at the counter. Contact support with the loan number and the dates in question, and the team will verify your store's interest and fee configuration.

Can I perform bulk inventory actions like a markup across many items?

For large inventory updates, contact Bravo support first: the team can tell you the fastest supported way to make the change for your catalog size and can assist directly when needed. If the capability you want isn't available yet, such as a specific bulk edit, support logs it as a product request that goes to Bravo's in-house engineering team, the same people who build the software.

What merchant services do I need to run payments through Bravo?

Bravo offers integrated card processing through Worldpay, Fortis, and PayPal, so card transactions post directly to the point of sale with no double entry. Bravo also integrates Credova for buy now, pay later financing.

Using Bluedog? Bluedog rebranded to Fortis, so your existing processing relationship continues under the Fortis name.

To sign up with a processor or get contact details for your merchant services account, reach out to Bravo support and the team will connect you. See the integrated payments page for the full roster.

What happens to my PawnMaster data after the sunset date?

PawnMaster switches to read-only, not off, so you can reference old records any time during and after your migration to Bravo. When you migrate, your customers, inventory, loan history, and transaction records convert completely and get a validation pass before you ring a live sale, and setup and data conversion are free. Most stores are fully live on Bravo within 30 days.

For your store's specific sunset date or to plan your timeline, contact the migration team through the PawnMaster migration hub. Bravo acquired the Data Age products in January 2024, so the PawnMaster professionals you've worked with for years are the same people running your migration.

What POS systems can Bravo migrate my data from?

Bravo regularly migrates stores from PawnMaster, Celerant, AIM, and other legacy point of sale systems. Data conversion covers customers, inventory, loan history, and transaction records, followed by a validation pass before go-live, and conversion is free. Your team gets trained before cutover through live webinars, 1-on-1 calls, and on-demand videos.

Coming from PawnMaster? Start at the migration hub. From another system, talk to the team about your data.

How do I set up eCommerce, and do I need my own website?

Bravo's integrated eCommerce lets you list an item once and sell it on Buya, eBay, UsedGuns.com, Guns.com, and your own branded website; when it sells anywhere, it comes off sale everywhere. You don't need a separate website to start selling online, since marketplace channels like Buya work without one, though a company-branded site with live inventory builds trust and earns customers before they walk in.

To activate eCommerce channels for your store, contact Bravo support and the team will walk you through setup for the channels you want.

How do I get MobilePawn set up for my customers?

MobilePawn is Bravo's mobile app that connects your customers to your store from their phones. Activation is handled with the Bravo team, so contact support to get MobilePawn turned on for your store and to confirm any requirements for your setup, including payment features. See the MobilePawn page for what the app does for your customers.

How do I correct an e4473 after it has been finalized?

Corrections to a Form 4473 are governed by ATF rules, so a finalized e4473 shouldn't be casually edited or worked around. Contact Bravo support before making any change: the team will walk you through the compliant correction process for your situation so the record stays audit-ready. When in doubt on the regulatory side, your ATF industry operations investigator is the authority on what a correction must look like.
